What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small files that a web browser stores on your computer or other devices, such as a mobile phone or tablet, when visiting a website. Among other things, cookies enable the website to recognize your device and remember certain information about your browsing session while connected. For example, cookies allow the website to determine whether you have visited it before or to customize the website settings according to your individual preferences. Cookies remember the type of browser you are using or the settings you have chosen, which remain set as your default settings during repeated visits to the website, thereby enhancing your user experience and comfort while browsing.

We use cookies primarily to ensure smooth functionality of the website and to enhance your experience while using it. These objectives are achieved by collecting aggregate statistical data on the number of website visitors and information on how they interact with the site. For these purposes, we may also use third-party cookies.

When operating our website, we use different types of cookies with various functionalities to achieve different objectives. In general, our website uses session and persistent cookies.

Session cookies are stored only while you browse the website. They are automatically deleted once you close your browser or leave the site.

Persistent cookies, on the other hand, remain stored on your device even after you leave the site, close your browser, or turn off your device.

On our website, we use the following types of cookies for the purposes described below:

Essential (Functional, Necessary) Cookies: These cookies are crucial for proper functioning of the website. They enable you to browse the site and use its key features, such as accessing secure areas. Since they are necessary for the basic functionality of the website, no consent is required. If you do not wish to use these cookies, you should refrain from accessing or using the website.

Advertising (Marketing) Cookies: These cookies allow us to display targeted advertising on the website or other websites, which means that you will be shown advertisement based on your activity on the site. These cookies are anonymized, meaning that they do not directly identify you. We can however still recognize you as a visitor and thus adjust the advertisement to you. Your consent is required for this type of cookies. If you decline or withdraw your consent, you will no longer see targeted, personalized ads.

Statistical Cookies: This category of cookies helps us understand how you use the website and improve your experience by analyzing the performance of various sales channels. For example, they help us gather data on visits, sources of visits, website performance, etc. Statistical cookies identify recurring visits from the same browser on the same device and can track your activity during your visit. They also help us identify technical issues and track the effectiveness of individual parts of the website, enabling us to optimize navigation. Your consent is required for this type of cookies. If you decline or withdraw your consent, no analytical data will be collected during your website visit.

If we state that information within the cookies is shared with the cookie provider, it means that the cookies are not created or managed by us, but by an independent third party (e.g., business partners, service providers). The third-party cookie controller is an independent entity that stores these cookies on your device during your visit to the site. However, the information collected by these cookies is available to the third party, which then shares it with us. Third-party cookies are used for various purposes (e.g., analytics or advertising) all with the shared goal of enhancing your user experience.
